 We signed Ramona up for some swimming lessons at the beginning of the month. She went every day for two weeks.

 

 There were three other students in her class

Opal, Ramona, Brenna, and Herbie waiting for Becky to throw plastic sticks into the water for them to "fetch."

 On the last day of swimming lessons, we gave her teacher Becky a bouquet of origami flowers to thank her for being so patient.

 

 

 

 Ramona called her little classmate "Oval" even though her actual name was "Opal."

Although she may not be ready to jump off any diving boards, thanks to these lessons, I think she enjoys the water more than she did before. Maybe after another session of lessons in the Fall she will finally have the courage to put her whole face in the water!
