One of the best parts of Christmas, in my opinion, is when most of the December craziness has died down and we find moments to spend with family and friends. Before Christmas Day, we got to have Linda Anderson over to share food and music . . .
Christmas Eve we had the kids read letters from Forest like usual, and open up a few simple gifts.
When I say "simple" gifts, I mean it. But Mika's reaction was over the top, anyway. Here she is after opening a tube of bubble gum toothpaste:
