Father's Day Weekend and More

Jii and Baachan were here visiting over Father's Day Weekend and the following week while Forest was in Taiwan.
They of course brought over lots of omiage from their trip to Japan.
For Father's Day, we prepared some Father's Day interview results to present to Forest, with some especially memorable quotes from Wylie. We also got gifts for him and Jii.
Here is Forest with Wylie at breakfast, bacon hanging out of his mouth.
Some more Father's Day photos:
During the week that Forest was in Taiwan, my parents were a huge help with the kids and with the house.
My dad even gave me some organ lessons that week since I was subbing for the regular organist at church in July.
The Friday after Forest got back, he took Ramona and Mika to a tennis court to practice hitting some balls while Paula and Wylie played on the playground with Jii and Baachan (and I crammed in some organ practice at the church).
Before we went home, we stopped at Freddy's for some frozen custard.
On Saturday morning, the girls had some Japanese lessons with Baachan and Wylie had some puzzle time with Jii.
In the afternoon, we all went to the Woolly Mammoth park in Fort Collins . . .
. . . and for dinner we ate at the Himalayan Bistro.
On Sunday after church, Jii read us a story in Russian . . .
. . . and we went on a walk . . .
. . . and Baachan gave us some more presents just because.
Monday was the last day of Jii and Baachan's visit. We of course had to drive to the Peter Pan Park in Westminster and shop at the H-Mart afterward. It is one of our favorite summer traditions.
To top it all off, Jii and Baachan treated us to mochi ice cream outside the store. YUM!
Thank you, Jii and Baachan!
