2019: Year of the Pig

We spent the beginning of 2019 making pig crafts, helping Ramona and Mika make pinewood derby cars, hanging out with Paca, and enjoying a sunny afternoon at the park.

Sheila Thompson's baby shower! This was a sweet event--Sheila was my friend back in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A few years ago she and her husband moved to the Loveland/Johnstown area so we have been able to see each other a handful of times here in Colorado.

A "Come, Follow Me" lesson with a Mission: Impossible theme (With God, nothing shall be impossible) Each kid got a separate "mission" to mind a specific object in the house.

Family Home Evening about faith. We made a mud and worms treat with chocolate pudding, oreos, and gummy worms that made a glorious mess.
I made an attempt to organize sheet music . . .
Paula was in charge of bringing a letter "P" snack for preschool at the end of January. We tried pudding cups and pizza Lunchables.
Wylie got to come along and play with the trains
