Half-Birthday Boy

This little guy has been with our family for six months now. As with every new addition, I am astonished by how quickly my baby has grown. But despite the fleeting passage of this half-year, I cannot imagine life without our precious smiley Wylie.

 For dinner on his half-birthday, I cooked him some butternut squash.

He tried to eat it before it was cooked.

Once it was in baby food form, he did a pretty good job getting it down and did not seem overly wary of the new flavor and texture.

His sisters were thrilled to see him get messy with the new solid food. We have just loved watching this darling boy grow. Happy half-birthday, little Love!
