Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2015

We celebrated Christmas Eve this year by building snowmen--on the dining room table. Mini chocolate chips for eyes, carrot pieces for noses, twist ties for mouths, and a hat and scarves borrowed from dollies. Here is Ramona's:
Here is Mika's:
And here is Paula's:
"Snowman Family:"
Also, I got to play picnic with Paula and several dollies.
In the evening, the girls got their Christmas letters from Daddy . . .
. . . and exchanged gifts with each other. Ramona gave Paula a "Frozen" pool floatie and Mika gave her a mini Barbie doll.
Ramona gave Mika a mini Belle doll . . .
. . . and Paula gave her a Ken doll, dressed in a tuxedo.
Mika gave Ramona dolly with a blue and red dress . . .
. . . and Paula gave her a mini Tinkerbell.
The girls did a great job sharing their new bounty with each other for some before-bedtime playtime.
To finish off the night, the girls piled onto the couch with Daddy to watch some of the Peanuts Christmas movie. They opted to go to bed without changing into pajamas, and I didn't argue.
On Christmas morning, Ramona and Mika respectfully slept until 8am, then ate breakfast and patiently waited until after Paula was up to open gifts.

There were some new presents under the tree--labeled with tags for each of the girls, from Santa. He brought Paula a stuffed giraffe and a Doc McStuffins doll.
He brought Mika a mini Doc McStuffins and some Legos.
Finally, for Ramona he brought a Monster High doll and new colored pencils.
But there were still lots of other gifts under the tree: an Inside Out nightgown from Grandma,
fuzzy robes for all three girls (also from Grandma),

stuffed animals and books from Paca and Teresa (Paula called her panda "KO-panda"),
a remote control helicopter from Dan and Christie,
Frozen puzzles and cookie kits from Jii and Baachan,
play food (from Grandma),
and snow boots (from Grandma). Mommy and Daddy got some presents, too!
Next, the girls emptied the stockings.
What a full Christmas.
Just moments after gifts were out of wraps, Mika and Ramona were already making plans for sharing . . .
. . . and all three girls were soon busy playing.
Paula had a blast with her pretend food. If only she were so good with REAL food . . .
Look who got a nap for Christmas--just what he always wanted!

Paula ended her evening with a ring pop from the stocking. She kept saying, "Mmm. Yummy" with almost every lick.
But all good things must come to an end--whether they be ring pops or days of high anticipation. So eventually we said goodbye to Christmas 2015. It was a merry one!
